Mission
We in academic advising & orientation assist students with the identification,
pursuit, and achievement of their educational goals by providing quality
advising and personalized support throughout their experience at College of
Eastern Utah, from New Student Orientation, through graduation and transfer.
Services provided include:

familiarize students with degree
options & requirements

assist students with course scheduling
& degree planning

determine course placement based on
placement test scores

monitor student progress towards
completion of graduation requirements

assist with major & career exploration

assist students experiencing academic
difficulties and make recommendations and/or referrals

provide students with transfer information
and assist with transfer procedure
Our goal is to serve as an advocate and guide
for all students, traditional and non-traditional, and create a positive, open
and friendly atmosphere in which they feel comfortable exploring options and
making educated academic choices. We seek to increase student success on each of
our campuses, and prepare them for continued success in their future educational
endeavors.
